Garde Burgess has worked in the computer industry for over thirty two years. Twenty years were spent repairing large mainframes and minicomputer systems. He became an expert on Data General Systems and eventually repaired those systems to the component level. Garde spent eleven years in the USAF working on a variety of computer systems. In the 90’s, Garde change careers to the administration of computer networks. He worked as an employee and consultant for EDS, Hewlett Packard, IBM and Research International. Today he has certifications in Microsoft and Novell products and remains current with both. He also has ten years experience with Macintosh products and is currently learning the Linux platform.
